Good morning fellow cyclists
In the interest of full disclosure I have to tell you that when I decided to commit to "Executive" Bike Commuting it was not without some trepidation and fear of failure. After all, I have been known to commit to things and not see them through. There was that expensive unused gym membership for example. The vision of stuck-in-a-daily-grind me hopping on a bike to go to work seemed unrealistic to say the least. Executives don't hop... But I had shot my mouth off and there was no turning back.
I am surprising myself. This morning, day 3, I could hardly wait to get out of bed and on the road. Who'd of thunk it. Take a look at this bike path scenery that I must endure on my "Executive" Bike Commute. (Next time I will show you pictures of the urban Long Beach part of my trek.)
I swear, I've lived in Long Beach for 32 years and drive by this scenery every day in my car... but I never really notice. I must be under the influence of endorphins again.
