Saturday, May 3, 2014 - We have a booth so come on over and meet one of our mechanics at BikeFest! They'll be plenty to see and fun times with a Stylish by Bike and Vintage Bike competition hosted by Pedal Love.
Sunday, May 4, 2014 - How can you not love a name like that?! The ride meets at LACBC headquarters in Downtown LA, 634 S. Spring Street at 9:30 am.
Saturday & Sunday May 3-4 - FREE at the Santa Monica Pier, besides a large and diverse group of bicycle related exhibitors, the Santa Monica Bicycle Expo will also offer the opportunity to demo and test ride the latest bicycle technology, ask questions from cycling experts, find a local bicycle shop, get involved in cycling advocacy and enjoy bicycle related entertainment.
Saturday May 3, 2014 - At 8PM for Bicycle Movie Night two bicycle movies will be shown: The Academy Award winning Breaking Away and the rarely seen Paris-Roubaix bicycle race documentary A Sunday In Hell!
Sunday, May 11, 2014 - CycloFemme is a Global Women's Cycling Day created TO HONOR THE PAST and the emancipation of our grandmothers and great-grandmothers, for the freedom to choose and the chance to wear pants. TO EMPOWER THE FUTURE of women in cycling and the opportunity for positive social change. Encourage women to ride and they will change the world.
Cyclofemme LA Mother’s Day Bike Ride and Brunch, from 9 am to 1 pm at Grand Park, 200 North Grand Ave. Take a socially paced ride around Downtown LA to celebrate and honor women around the world, ending with brunch at the Angel City Brewery.
Friday, May 16, 2014 - Metro Bike Night will take place in the Fred Harvey Room and outside courtyard area on Friday, May 16 from 5:30-8:30pm. This free event will feature special guests, live music, food trucks, outdoor booths, free bike valet, bike short films, trivia, bike portraits and a fashion show. There will also be a raffle for a chance to win a Tern folding bike, a one year supply of Clif Bar products, Abus U-locks, 30-Day Metro passes, Bike Week LA special edition t-shirts and more!
KCRW Reinventing the Wheel: D&A Explores the Future of Mobility
Sunday, May 18th at 1 pm. The forum of the future of mobility includes space-age cars from the Petersen Automotive Museum, Linus city bikes and mobility exhibits, as well as live music, food trucks and complimentary beer; admission $15.
Metrolink Bike To Work Deal
Thursday, May 15, 2014 - FREE rides on the Metrolink with your bicycle of course! Metrolink wants to make it easy for you to take your bike to work, school, the trails or wherever you go. Every Metrolink car can hold up to three bikes, and special Bike Cars are designed to hold up to eighteen bikes. This makes it very easy for you to grab your bike and go.
Metrolink will offer free rides on Bike to Work day, May 15, 2014, to anyone who brings a bike onboard Metrolink. This offer will be effective on all Metrolink trains in operation May 15, 2014. Riders must accompany their bike for the entire trip. Free ride offer is limited to one person per bike.

Thursday, May 15, 2014 - From 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Covina Metrolink Station (600 N. Citrus) there we will be goodies and giveaways. Shirts, bike lights, patch kits, food and more could be yours mornign perk up for driving your bike. There will also be some great prizes and packages raffled off with great commuter and retail value.
Public Works Open House
Saturday, May 17, 2014 - The third annual Public Works Open House in celebration of National Public Works Week will be held at the Covina City Yard (534 N. Barranca) from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. They will have food from Taste of Texas, giveaways, and free bicycle tune-ups courtesy of Citrus Valley Cyclery.
