Long Beach Rolls Up To Silver For Most Bike Friendly
The city's bike bodaciousness was kicked up a gear Monday as the League of American Bicyclists upgraded Long Beach's ranking from bronze to silver in its annual list of Bicycle Friendly Communities.
This is Long Beach's fourth year on the overall list and first in the silver category.

In partnership with the City of Long Beach, Tony Cruz & Associatetes and Miller Children's Hospital, the Downtown Long Beach Associates will produce the 4th Annual Long Beach Bicycle Festival, presented by Wells Fargo. The event will include live music, Beachwood & Friends Craft Beer Garden, vendor festival, family-friendly activites, and the Tour of Long Beach charity ride for Miler Children's Hospital.
